What is Feng Shui?
Feng Shui (pronounced fong shway) is the Eastern science of living in harmony with the environment. It is based on over 8,000 years of accumulative experience. Simply put, it helps guide people in selecting and creating an environment that promotes well being according to the laws of nature. At the same time, it tells us how to excel in harmony with nature.
Following Taoist philosophy, Feng Shui proposes that everything is made of energy. The spectrum of energies that surround us influence our health, relationships, family life as well as creative and business activities. When these energies are out of balance within our home or office, this can result in accidents, illness, arguments, divorce, bankruptcy and even rebellious children. As a product of one’s environment, Feng Shui looks at how your body interacts with the energies around you, and provides ways to stimulate you with the positive energy that allows you to live to your fullest potential.

In Taoist thought, we do not believe in coincidence. Everything happens for a reason. Feng Shui theories help us to understand how different thingsfrom your being to your home and environmentinteract. These theories and practices also help us predict the patterns of cause and effect.

The practice of Feng Shui has consistently brought harmony to generations of families, empowered influential leaders, increased business prosperity, sustained our environment and enlightened minds in following natural laws. Combined with the growing practice of holistic approaches to living, Feng Shui as a multi-disciplinary system is gaining international interest and wide spread use in the West.
